What’s the difference between a ‘drawing’ pencil and a ‘sketching’ pencil - are they both graphite?
Yes, they are both graphite. ‘Drawing’ pencils are at the harder end of the scale (H), the higher the H number the harder the graphite and the lighter the tone it will create. ‘Sketching’ pencils are softer (B) and make darker, richer tones.
How long are these pencils?
They are the standard 19cm in length, until sharpened of course.
Does this set come with a Tutorial and Guide Book?
A 5-stage detailed tutorial is included with all sets, but the Guide Book is only available with our 40, 60 and 100 piece Drawing Sets.
Does this set include sepia and sanguine pencils?
No, sepia and sanguine pencils are included in our 40, 60 and 100 piece Drawing & Sketching sets.
Can the pencils be bought individually?
Unfortunately, we do not sell individual pencils at the moment but this is something we are considering for the future.
